Kathryn E., May 9, 2009, 2:18PM EDTThank you for the vote of confidence. Marc Jacobs says SCAD is the one to go to.
-
Kathryn E., May 9, 2009, 11:26AM EDTLooks like it will be SCAD.
Parsons also accepted her and we went to both NYC and Savannah. NYC is more expensive, but Parsons is the better school.
She fell in love with Savannah. Her roommate is a friend from school here. -
Kerstin Gustavsson, Apr 3, 2009, 7:26AM EDTThanks for accepting my friend request. I appreciate it.

Kathryn E., Mar 3, 2009, 12:32AM ESTWell, now my husband and daughter are at SCAD - they got snowed in - were supposed to come back yesterday and am not sure if the snow here today - 1 foot - will cause a further delay. They did say they love SCAD - and Savannah.

Kathryn E., Feb 19, 2009, 8:57PM ESTWell, we were at Parsons yesterday, midtown and the Village. It has come down to a choice between Parsons and SCAD. Hubby and daughter will check out Savannah next week. Yesterday was cold and rainy and too much walking, but the regular tour and the fashion tour looked interesting. Not that we can afford Parsons...but I think the experience would be greatly to her benefit, as it has a better rep than SCAD.
Before we went to NYC yesterday, she would only consider SCAD, seems she is in love with the South. But SCAD doesn't have an actual campus... but NYC is well, NYC...we live in a quiet suburb...
Parsons at the New School in midtown..
Parsons said they accepted her but want her to complete a summer foundations course...
Don't know what it was like when you were there, when P was part of the Otis school, but P has such an excellent rep...so I think she should try it...
Though a part of me thinks she should become a nurse. She loves medicine and has an A in the honors Anatomy course...a much easier career path... but one cannot tell anyone that..
And I opted for English and Journalism...similar difficulties with career paths... -
