Today, on our cross-country odyssey, we had to jam down the road as soon as we left Clinton Oklahoma to reach Hot Springs, Arkansas before nightfall. My wife, who is a real estate investor, wanted to spend . . . more

Warren,
I also wanted to encourage you to seriously consider -- if the opportunity ever arose -- to have a show in the Bay Area.
Los Angeles, is by far, the largest city/metropolitan area in California, but the Bay Area is definitely known for being the area for appreciation of "the Arts". San Francisco and Berkeley are renowned for this, and are rivaled only by such places as Paris and New York. But, being an artist, you probably already know.
Looking at your art, I know you would be warmly received by our area; we would love you.
Congratulations again on your show, and my best wishes for the greatest success!

Warren,
I wanted to thank you for your comments on my article.
Here was part of my comment to you:
Warren,
Interesting! I've never felt the racism of Southern California; very interesting indeed.
Warren: for what you said here,
"I also hope that this event heals some of the damage done to the black psyche; the message is that equality is on the horizon; you have our long-deserved respect; you are the key to making this country great again."
I thank you! I know that a great deal of bigotry has been served up to the Muslim, Hispanic and Asian communities down there; I only hope it's quieted. Still, California is far ahead of the rest of the Country when it comes to bigotry; I know it, because I breathe freer here than other parts of the Country. My girlfriend (from the South) seems to think I need a lesson in "the real world", and I tell her "thank you, but NO, thank you, for I've had lesson enough in the few travels I've done without her.

Greetings Warren - I am also from Louisiana (Franklin) and live in Santa Barbara (part time) for last 30 years. Majored in Studio art at UCSB and used to show around town and now just do my thing. Nice to meet someone else from our wonderful state and wish you the best - great reading your train stories. Salud.
